Drove up to Tempe Tuesday Night, where I had dinner with Tammy and Mike @ PF Changs. Fortune cookie time at the end of the night...TWO in one cookie!
First up...
Sounds good to me, and then the second...
After dinner, took a brief nap @ Tammy's and woke up at 2am to pick up Lauren from her brother's dorm @ ASU. (She's visiting for the week) And then we drove straight up north to reach the Grand Canyon by sunrise. Our very first visit there- we had to do it right.

We left the Grand Canyon in the afternoon and decided to make a stop off in Sedona to check out its beauty.

This place is really pretty cool. The dirt was cold, soft, and just like clay. Lauren and I went off trail and explored the setting, taking a bunch of photos with her iPhone before we headed back to Tempe to chow down at America's Taco Shop.
Headed back to snooze at Tammy's and then in the evening Mike, Tammy, and I went to dinner again. This time in Scottsdale for quite possibly the best meal I've had up there. Excellent Ceasar Salad, Insoglio to drink, Lasagna, little bit of pizza, then a pizza dough calzone with ice cream, banana, and hazelnut chocolate inside.
