"A great day. The storm is coming (555pm), the lightning is flashing, and clean clothes I am wearing."

PALMS ARE SWAYING
626pm, done from memory

"Team Peru" crossed the Piranha invested "Lake" this evening (really just the Amazon River). 1-2 miles swimming distance. Em and Pat saw a dolphin while we were accomplishing this feat. Rode on the back of the motobike w/Marky Mark as the rain came down on the way into "Horse Lake" town. And the students painted their houses in class and we did a little dancing to Michael Jacks for a minute. Wanna Be Startin Somethin.

TITO'S "NEIGHBORHOOD", AROUND THE CENTER OF CUSHILLACOCHA
After Class
10:11~1211pm

Hung out @ the courts, flipping and running around with some kids. Played with their race cars, introduced them to Daft Punk, the iPod, TRON LEGACY, IRON MAN 2, and then, "Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiirball" and "SWISH!" while shooting around with a flat soccer ball. Performed races ("uno. dos. tres" running stances) going full court. Egg-cellent egg sandwiches for dinner, oh! and a CLEAN borrowed shirt from Doris' donation pile followed by a shower!

MY "CLUBHOUSE" QUARTERS
April 12, 2010
342am- Watched some INCREDIBLE HULK on the iPizzle. This image is in its honor. The light coming up from the floor is from the store located directly below. I could look down the cracks to see locals buying stuff from the owner at the counter.

Sunday, April 11, 2010: We joined in on the village's church service where the three of us were introduced to the community. Spoke on the mic while Senor Lambert translated. We were then fed in the cooking house/ hut (blue) tons of rice and spag. w/chicken. Burt bought some gator from a local man outside (which Doris later commandeered for our dinner that night. Served it with Ragu sauce.) Had to go into Caballacocha to buy more paint brushes once we discovered the ones left from last year weren't there. JUNGLE EXCURSION IN THE AFTERNOON: Em. lost camera for a bit. Dinner and discussion afterwards.
